About Organic Village

At Organic Village we believe it's about time that organic goodness was reasonably priced and widely available for everyone to benefit.

Organic Village was first founded in July 1995, initially bringing together a handful of organic fruit growers from Anatolia - a beautiful region renowned for its fertile hills and valleys, which have remained untouched by chemical pesticides and sprays for hundreds of years. Known as the ‘cradle of civilisation’, Anatolia is where the oldest known human settlement in the world is documented, dating back to 6500 BC. Apples are believed to have originated in Eastern Anatolia, with archaeological remains dated there to 6500 BC.

Cherries are also thought to have originated in this part of Turkey. So it’s something the fruit growers in Anatolia definitely know a thing or two about, with centuries of natural know-how. Today Turkey is one of the world’s largest producers of pomegranates, cherries, apricots and grapes, apples, figs and peaches.

The original small co-operative grew into a society of growers and producers, and today over 753 farmers and their families are growing for Organic Village. Our range is sold in 16 different countries worldwide including Denmark, Sweden, Germany, France, Poland, Belgium, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Japan, the USA and of course in the UK where we are based.

Organic Village is all about sourcing the tastiest and purest of produce - not only delicious but also packed full of essential nutrients for health - and building a range which combines top quality with affordability. So at last everyone can enjoy organic goodness without paying a premium price.

Our fruit juices are certified-organic by the Soil Association, are not made from concentrate, contain no added water, no added sugar or artificial sweeteners. In fact nothing added or taken away. Just 100% pure first-pressed fruit juice.

We are also working with skilled organic farmers in Bulgaria to bring you a range of delicious cheeses, also Soil Association certified.
